I have always been curious about what causes suffering, how we find meaning, and how we can heal and grow.

About Me

Hello, I'm Sarah.

I came to the therapy field with a background in the performing arts and singing Opera. I learned to tell stories that can be inspiring and healing to others. I was particularly drawn to the experience as a performer because I was supported by the audience having an emotional experience alongside me. The experience of being a performer taught me the power of being witnessed. I was drawn to therapy because the therapists are trained to be compassionate witnesses and to deeply value the people sitting across from them.

In my twenties, I found Intersectional Feminism and Women’s Spirituality. My degree in Women’s spirituality affirms my deep affinity for honoring the various ways systems of oppression block intimacy and how to integrate honoring the divine feminine into my everyday life. While I deeply value performing arts, intersectional feminism, and women’s spirituality the core of the draw to the field was the healing power of relationships.

Therapy allows us to have a personal relationship that is focused on us and/or our most important relationships. I believe that everyone is worthy of that kind of attention and that it can be a catalyst for deeply understanding yourself and your chosen path in life. I chose to be a therapist because I understand the value of having a caring, committed other who can help you uncover your sense of self, your aliveness, and your connection to the larger world.
